Granny
Was at the dining table with my granny...
Initially I wanna just take my medicine and head straight up to my room, but my eyes just stop at granny, thinking to myself, my granny is really old. She was somewhat struggling to hold the spoon. I put my medicine aside, take the spoon from her and fed her.
I remember those days when she was still energetic, she has hundred and one thing to complain about me. I was so annoyed when she did that, but now I kinda miss hearing those complains. I miss hearing her voice. It's been awhile since I last see her laugh.
When I was little, for some weird reason... I used to think that my grandparent will stay with me forever. I know they are older then me, but in my mind I didn't know that they will passed away. I am very attached to my grandparents, especially my father's side.
I love my family.

not so cool
Not cool. I am stress to the MAX! Emotionally not doing well, hence... idea not coming out. I am not inspired, I am not motivated.
I want to run away. I want to hide. Not cool at all.
I felt so cramped up.

It's been a month...
It's been a month now since the my climbing kaki, Dusan fell from the Himalayan Mountain. Been praying for his safety... report tells that the changes of finding him alive is almost ZERO! But God is God that's able. Still hoping for the best.
Wonder if the rescue team still searching for him?

Without Vision People Perish
Now I understand this phrase - without vision, people perish. God indeed knows that we need vision. Vision is what keeps people do what they do. Even if we are doing what we love, without vision our love and passion for something will die too.
Vision + Passion = blossom.
Vision + Passion = blossom.

Letterpress
Visited ROYAL PRESS, Malacca today. It was fun! Something out of the box! These are one of the thing that I make my job fun.
The Royal Press was form in the 1940s' by the Ee family. They were the one who printed the very first Mandarin Newspaper in Malaysia.
Us, the inexperience ones, getting our hands dirty, trying to compose something. Mind you, this place have tonnes of mozzies! Next trip down, got to remember to bring insects repellent, my boss' main job is to "pak man" (direct translation from cantonese to english is beat mosquitoes =p)
Most of the workers that work there has been with the company for 50 years!
One of the old machine that I found during my tour at Royal Press. Not too sure if this is still functioning. But yeah, it really amaze me.
This is how they file the customer's blocks. Yeah, for repeats, got to go through each trays.
This auntie has been working in with Royal Press for 50 years! She is the one in charge of composing. She knows exactly where things are. She is really cute too =)
Blocks are tied using string! Everything are manually done.
Not too sure what machine is this, but i assume is one of the letterpress machine?
He used to work in Bukit Cina, and he has been working with royal press for 10 years! He is the one in charge of printing.
We are going to do some test print using this machine. Best part about letterpress is that we can even print on namecard size paper! *Light bulb* moment =)
Our work, not too bad eh? Love it!
In the effort of keeping the art of letterpress. Still brewing with the idea. This place, not just contains the art of letterpress, but also rich in culture.
Btw, I steal some papers back too =p

5th month
My 5th month... Definitely not a smooth sailing. But I thank God for the grace and favor. It's a whole lots of experience I gain here.
Talk about being patient and calmness during tough time. My boss have that.... even when tsunami hits, he is still calm and help me process things through. Me on the other hand, really a panic queen. Need to learn to stay calm and solve the problem, just like the saying, no point crying over spilled milk.
So much to learn! Really stretching my character and also knowledge. Well this is what I asked for... wisdom. Here, you go... gaining wisdom from all the challenges and learning from wiser people.
Yes, conclusion... I am stress, but I am also keeping myself open, to learn and grow.

#remindertoself
I thank God for challenges, for it stretches me
I thank God for the discipline, for I know He loves me
I thank God that I am weak, for I know He is strong
I thank God for the unknown, for I know I can trust Him for my future
I thank God for the rough ride, for I know I can lean on Him
I thank God for my imperfection, for I know in Him I am made perfect
I thank God for "difficult people", for I know He teach me to love those whom I think it's unlovable.
I thank God for the rude wake up call, for I know He is walking through it with me
I thank God for friends, for I know He do not want me to be alone
Challenges are real, my feelings are real... but because of His grace, I am able to rise above all challenges. For when I am weak, HE is strong.

Cluttured mind
Getting more and more busy with work. There are things I need to slowly let go. Keeping first thing first. FOCUS is the key.
It's just merely 4 months in the new company, and work is really getting hectic now. From nothing to do, to having not enough time and needing to get new hire. It's amazing. Really amazing! Can you imagine, me doing customer service? Still super nervous whenever I needed to see a client. I am force to make decisions. I have no choice but to stay calm when I am seeing client. In the business world, every mistake make cause money. But thank God for gracious boss. He sort of allow me to make mistakes. Love the fact that I am given the room to explore and experiment new things.
Still wondering what my future would be. I am entering late 20s and still feel that I have not achieve anything. Am I missing something here? Not too sure how long will I stay in this current company. Not too sure if I will even last till next year. I don't know. Future? I really can't see my future. I do feel as though I have no future. Wanting to stepped out, but how? HOW? HOW? HOW?
Is patient the KEY now?
Yeah I know, I am kind of not making sense. Me and my cluttered mind. Now, I need clarity.

Standing at the door
I am standing at the door.
Just watching every moves. Wishing that I could be part of it. Unfortunately I am just at the door.
Tried entering, but somehow I just couldn't find my fit.

voices
argh!!!!
What if all these while what I think is right was wrong? Every time when I think I have taken a steps forward, before I can see the results of my work, I have to take 2 steps back. There are too many voices out there, who to listen? family tells you this, friends tell you that... who to listen? who to follow?
I am desperate, I want a clear direction. Not trying to feel my way through.
If only I know the answer.

Vision of one man
A risky, costly, reckless endeavor
Sixty years after founder Bob Pierce’s bold, audacious idea, World Vision has become a global organization whose presence in nearly 100 countries has helped change the lives of millions of children across multiple generations.
September 2010
By Richard Stearns, president, World Vision U.S.

Bob Pierce’s most famous prayer, “Let my heart be broken with the things that break the heart of God,” has formed the basis for World Vision’s work alongside the poor and oppressed around the globe.
I sometimes wish that Bob Pierce had chosen a name other than World Vision when he founded our organization 60 years ago, in September 1950. If he had chosen a name beginning with an A, we would always be the first charity listed by the media after a natural disaster instead of the last.
But what a name — WORLD Vision. Ironically, Bob Pierce was denied his dream to be an Army chaplain in the 1940s because he had poor vision.
I have often mused over Bob Pierce’s sheer audacity. When he made his first trip to Asia in 1947, he barely had enough money to get to Hawaii, much less all the way to China. And he had to borrow an office from Youth for Christ in Portland, Ore., just to get the ministry started. So you have to love the recklessness of a guy who names his little charity “World Vision.” I think it made God smile.
That unwavering conviction has led successive generations at World Vision into the pain of the world. Our courageous staff has faced earthquakes, famines, riots, cyclones, military coups, floods, pandemic diseases, and wars. They have lived among the broken, walked among the homeless, and given comfort to the widow, the orphan, the least, and the lost.
And they have done these things knowing the risk and paying the price but believing that God had called them for the great privilege of serving. Rarely does a year go by that doesn’t cost one or two of our staff their lives — seven have died this year alone.

More than 3 million children are now assisted by sponsors worldwide, and 100 million people receive help of one kind or another — all because one man had the audacity to believe God and because millions more just like you were willing to join him.
World Vision...I think it still makes God smile.

A foundation that has shaped our identityFor 60 years, World Vision has lived by this risky, costly, and even reckless faith, believing that if we dared to follow Christ by going to the darkest and most dangerous places on earth, God would go before us and “be a lamp unto our feet” as we served the poorest of the poor in His name.

Because of one man’s vision
That audacious faith of Bob Pierce has always characterized World Vision, and I dare to say it has changed the world for millions of children over the past six decades. That tiny seed planted in Asia in 1950 by one man has now grown into an organization of more than 40,000 men and women on six continents in 97 countries.More than 3 million children are now assisted by sponsors worldwide, and 100 million people receive help of one kind or another — all because one man had the audacity to believe God and because millions more just like you were willing to join him.
World Vision...I think it still makes God smile.

childhood dream
1. Police woman. Why?? I wanted to protect the nation. Believe it or not? I seriously dream of fighting crime and help people.
2. Performer. Love performing arts. Mom and aunt love my singing, that makes me feel I am a good singer but later found out I actually can't sing hahaha
3. Teacher. Thought teacher is a very cool profession, able to speak in front of many people. As I grow older I realized teacher need to set exam papers =_=" and i don't really do well academically. Am just an average students. Super active, but when come to books, I am a little hopeless.
4. Lawyer. Again this has to do with justice. But mom says lawyer is not a good profession. Thank God I didn't pursue it. Need to read a lot...
5. Paramedics. To preserve life. At least try to reduce suffering. Started with being a first aider. Love being first aider actually...
All those just childhood dream. What I am doing now it has nothing to do with all the above. But considering I am a klutz, knowing some first aid knowledge helps me a lot hehehe

Outdoor climbing
Nah, I didn't climb... I decided to be good to my knee. Stayed home whole day yesterday... but my heart was at Damai wall.
Some interesting incident happen at Damai, and from what I heard from David, I guess things happen for a reason, and in this case... I would categorized it as MIRACLE.
Eric cousin or nephew.. can't remember came to know the Lord few days ago, and he joined them for climbing on the first day of Hari Raya, and he fell, the harness 'broke' (and he was wearing my harness) it broke because he tied wrongly, yupe safety first... always double check. In climbing we need to check on our partner. Okay back to the main point He fell about 1meter, to cut the whole story short, he was send to the hospital for check up, but the report shows that he was alright.... no sign of fractured. By right falling off, and with that impact our bones will at lest cracked, but I believe God showed 1st miracle in his life. He only suffered from minor injury. My last accident in Damai wall left me "crippled" for a month.
I should have gone... not to climb, but just be there. Then I can use my first aid skill. Ever since I graduate from high school, I only use my first aid skill on myself. Sigh.... just kidding. I really thank God for his protection, and I thank God that another soul was added in his kingdom. Perhaps someday climbing LG can be form hahaha
Once my knee recover, I will visit camp5 again.

No body shadow
I don't want to live under anybody's shadow. I admire those who dare to step up and live up their dream and what they believes in. I want to live up my dream. Again, what's my dream? Do I have any?
