argh!!!!
What if all these while what I think is right was wrong? Every time when I think I have taken a steps forward, before I can see the results of my work, I have to take 2 steps back. There are too many voices out there, who to listen? family tells you this, friends tell you that... who to listen? who to follow?
I am desperate, I want a clear direction. Not trying to feel my way through.
If only I know the answer.

Vision of one man
A risky, costly, reckless endeavor
Sixty years after founder Bob Pierce’s bold, audacious idea, World Vision has become a global organization whose presence in nearly 100 countries has helped change the lives of millions of children across multiple generations.
September 2010
By Richard Stearns, president, World Vision U.S.
I sometimes wish that Bob Pierce had chosen a name other than World Vision when he founded our organization 60 years ago, in September 1950. If he had chosen a name beginning with an A, we would always be the first charity listed by the media after a natural disaster instead of the last.
But what a name — WORLD Vision. Ironically, Bob Pierce was denied his dream to be an Army chaplain in the 1940s because he had poor vision.
I have often mused over Bob Pierce’s sheer audacity. When he made his first trip to Asia in 1947, he barely had enough money to get to Hawaii, much less all the way to China. And he had to borrow an office from Youth for Christ in Portland, Ore., just to get the ministry started. So you have to love the recklessness of a guy who names his little charity “World Vision.” I think it made God smile.
That unwavering conviction has led successive generations at World Vision into the pain of the world. Our courageous staff has faced earthquakes, famines, riots, cyclones, military coups, floods, pandemic diseases, and wars. They have lived among the broken, walked among the homeless, and given comfort to the widow, the orphan, the least, and the lost.
And they have done these things knowing the risk and paying the price but believing that God had called them for the great privilege of serving. Rarely does a year go by that doesn’t cost one or two of our staff their lives — seven have died this year alone.

More than 3 million children are now assisted by sponsors worldwide, and 100 million people receive help of one kind or another — all because one man had the audacity to believe God and because millions more just like you were willing to join him.
World Vision...I think it still makes God smile.

A foundation that has shaped our identityFor 60 years, World Vision has lived by this risky, costly, and even reckless faith, believing that if we dared to follow Christ by going to the darkest and most dangerous places on earth, God would go before us and “be a lamp unto our feet” as we served the poorest of the poor in His name.
That unwavering conviction has led successive generations at World Vision into the pain of the world. Because of one man’s vision
That audacious faith of Bob Pierce has always characterized World Vision, and I dare to say it has changed the world for millions of children over the past six decades. That tiny seed planted in Asia in 1950 by one man has now grown into an organization of more than 40,000 men and women on six continents in 97 countries.More than 3 million children are now assisted by sponsors worldwide, and 100 million people receive help of one kind or another — all because one man had the audacity to believe God and because millions more just like you were willing to join him.

childhood dream
1. Police woman. Why?? I wanted to protect the nation. Believe it or not? I seriously dream of fighting crime and help people.
2. Performer. Love performing arts. Mom and aunt love my singing, that makes me feel I am a good singer but later found out I actually can't sing hahaha
3. Teacher. Thought teacher is a very cool profession, able to speak in front of many people. As I grow older I realized teacher need to set exam papers =_=" and i don't really do well academically. Am just an average students. Super active, but when come to books, I am a little hopeless.
4. Lawyer. Again this has to do with justice. But mom says lawyer is not a good profession. Thank God I didn't pursue it. Need to read a lot...
5. Paramedics. To preserve life. At least try to reduce suffering. Started with being a first aider. Love being first aider actually...
All those just childhood dream. What I am doing now it has nothing to do with all the above. But considering I am a klutz, knowing some first aid knowledge helps me a lot hehehe

Outdoor climbing
Nah, I didn't climb... I decided to be good to my knee. Stayed home whole day yesterday... but my heart was at Damai wall.
Some interesting incident happen at Damai, and from what I heard from David, I guess things happen for a reason, and in this case... I would categorized it as MIRACLE.
Eric cousin or nephew.. can't remember came to know the Lord few days ago, and he joined them for climbing on the first day of Hari Raya, and he fell, the harness 'broke' (and he was wearing my harness) it broke because he tied wrongly, yupe safety first... always double check. In climbing we need to check on our partner. Okay back to the main point He fell about 1meter, to cut the whole story short, he was send to the hospital for check up, but the report shows that he was alright.... no sign of fractured. By right falling off, and with that impact our bones will at lest cracked, but I believe God showed 1st miracle in his life. He only suffered from minor injury. My last accident in Damai wall left me "crippled" for a month.
I should have gone... not to climb, but just be there. Then I can use my first aid skill. Ever since I graduate from high school, I only use my first aid skill on myself. Sigh.... just kidding. I really thank God for his protection, and I thank God that another soul was added in his kingdom. Perhaps someday climbing LG can be form hahaha
Once my knee recover, I will visit camp5 again.

No body shadow
I don't want to live under anybody's shadow. I admire those who dare to step up and live up their dream and what they believes in. I want to live up my dream. Again, what's my dream? Do I have any?

Terrorist in church
Something sweet to read...
Got this from a friend...

Beware of Terrorist Groups in Church
Latest news reports are that five terrorist cell groups have been operating
in many of our churches. They have been identified as: Bin Sleepin, Bin
Arguin, Bin Fightin, Bin Complainin, and Bin Missin.
Their leader, Lucifer Bin Workin, trained these groups to destroy the Body
of Christ. The plan is to come into the church disguised as Christians and
to work within the church to discourage, disrupt, and destroy.
However, there have been reports of a sixth group. A tiny cell known by the
name Bin Prayin is actually the only effective counter terrorism force in
the church. Unlike other terrorist cells, the Bin Prayin team does not
blend in with whoever and whatever comes along.
Bin Prayin does whatever is needed to uplift and encourage the Body of
Christ. We have noticed that the Bin Prayin cell group has different
characteristics than the others. They have Bin Watchin, Bin Waitin, Bin
Fastin, and Bin Longin for their Master, Jesus Christ to return.
NO CHURCH IS EXEMPT!
(However, you can spot them if you bin lookin and bin goin.)

Damai @ 31 Aug 2010
It was a good climb, although I only did 1 route... on top rope. As much as I wanted to lead I was watching my knee and being very careful. After CYW I can go all out and try a few fall =p
Eu Gene was super cute! He wanted to be part of the photography team as well. Eu Gene is only 2 years old, and yes he is an adventurous boy. Leong took care of him most of the time =) and Leong also gets to practice his mandarin.
It was David, Julie and Balan 1st time climbing outdoor... so proud of them, for 1st timer, i think they did well.
Why do I love climbing?
1. It kept me focus... sometime fear creeps in, but because i wanted to finish the "race" I kept climbing and eventually overcome the fear. Sometimes I do finish a route with great fear... but I did it =)
2. Having people around. There are times where I just wanted to give up. Telling myself, it's too difficult for me. I won't be able to do it. But other climbers will not let me give up. They will keep asking me to try. More experience climber show / teach me how to do it... and later on, I look at the same route again, try to study and remember how the other person do it.... and started climbing again. There routes that I climb numerous time before I am able to conquer it. Climbing taught me not to give up.
Yes, perseverance it's difficult... to fail... not just once but many time is discouraging, but someone once said, "failure is a steps closer to your dream."
Just like climbing, there are many ways to climb. You can learn from other experience climber, but most time I realised... their ways may not be suitable for me. I tried to imitate them, but at the end of the day, I still have to find my way...
Okay, have to stop talking about climbing... I have been banned from climbing till I recover from my knee injury.
