THE FARM HAND WHO COULD SLEEP THROUGH ANYTHING

There once was a farmer looking for a your man to help out at the farm. There were several young men who interviewed for the job and as far as the farmer could tell they were about equally well qualified. He then went and asked them each one final question...Tell me, he would say, Why should I hire you above the others?”

Of all of the applicants and their replies, there was one that was really different. One young man said...”because I can sleep through anything.” At first the farmer thought it was just strange, then the more he thought the more he was intrigued and mystified by the response. So he figured, well I will give this young man a chance and he hired him.

Weeks went by and the farmer was pretty happy with the young mans work. He still wondered sometimes what the young man had meant by his strange reply, but he never got around to it. Then one night he was awakened in the middle of night got a phone call from neighbor. There’s a big storm suddenly coming in with lots of wind, maybe a tornado. Better get ready for it,” was the quick message.

Indeed as the farmer went and looked out the door he found that the wind was strong and rising and rain had started. He quickly ran and tried to wake the young man up to start getting everything ready for the blow...but try as he might, the young man couldn’t be stirred. Muttering to himself about what a stupid thing he had done in hiring a lazy boy who wouldn’t wake up when he really needed him...the farmer went out to the frarm

He went out to tie down the hay...but discovered that the hay was already tied down securely. Next he went to the barn and the corrals...and every time he looked, everything had already been prepared. After a while of just wandering around the farm, of discovering that there was nothing that needed to be done at the last minute...because it had all been done before, the farmer returned to the house, but instead of muttering, he actually found himself singing the praises of this young man. He had realized, to his great joy, that the reason that the young man could sleep through anything was because before he went to bed each and every night he had already prepared for the very worst. And so the farmer followed the example of the young man, since everything was already prepared, he undressed and was soon fast asleep, with a huge smile of peace on his face.

Moral of the story...

It is better to be overly prepared than under prepared, you get more sleep that way.

Greed Kills

Was watching a TVB drama series, and the title of the series is called "greed kill"
it is really true that greed can really killed.
Because of greed, they think of all kinds of way to get the money or property; and it breaks the unity of the whole household.

GREED KILLS... word kills too...

We are doing a great things

1a.m. Dance team... lead by 2 very capable leader Sharon and Nai Lin.

Best time ever

Had dinner with her last night. It was truly the best birthday present ever. She is the one that close in my heart all the time. She is one of the important people in my life. Her changed life encourage me, and inspired me. Truly happy that she is not the core leader of ECF Damansara and 1a.m. dance leader.

Although things between us has changed, she is really an awesome friend and sister. Truly happy for her that she's growing and becoming a super woman of God. Thank God that I have a friend that i can count on.

laying awake at 3am. I know i suppose to be sleeping at this hour because I have to work in couple hours time.

For someone that is not feeling well, suppose to be sleeping as well. I tried to sleep... i tried to rest... but my mind is still awake. Therefore decided to get up and surf the net. Not knowing what to do online, therefore decided to check out Sharon's n Nai Lin's blog... these are the 2 blogs that i checked most.

In one of her post title "Sweet or Nick Name"
She shared in her blog that God called her little flock. I remember not long ago, I also heard God called me princess... When i heard that, i knew i was precious in His eyes...

I admit that many times i am being indifferent towards people it is because i dun wan to be hurt... but as we relate to people we can't avoid being hurt, can't expect people know how we feel or etc, but God has never failed to remind and assured me that He knows me and he has plan for me.

"Imagine Me" Production

1a.m. dance leader - Sharon (the one behind) & Nai Lin (the one in front)
Without them, there won't be any "imagine me" production...

we have funny leader, therefore we do funny things as well :)

The making of "Imagine Me" MTV hehehe... we finish shooting about 1am!!! it was a interesting experience. COOL :)

finally... it's easter weekend!!! the team with LISA... manage to snap a group pix before going for service :)

The song means a lot to me. It speak about our insecurity, past hurts... are all GONE.
I have also learn that in a team, we not just dance together, but we help each other to grow, encourage each other and stand with each other...

He will make a way

God will make a way
where there seems to be no way
He works in way we cannot see
He will make a way for me
He will be my guide
hold me closely to His side
with love and strength, for each new day
He will make a way, He will make a way

By a roadway in the wilderness, He'll lead me
and rivers in the desert will i see
Heaven and earth will fade
but His word will still remain
He will do something new today
